- Process Control
- Duration : 5 days
Since programmable logic controllers came into being in the late sixties, they have been playing a primordial role in automation control, by replacing the bulky, heavy relay and contactor circuits. They are flexible, easy to program, user friendly and robust where they support very extreme hostile environment.
Like other fields of electronics, PLCs have evolved rapidly from a simple on/off control into multi system, open with data sharing using either local networks or the world wide internet, with implementation of sophisticated control technology.
This is a practical course which trains the participants to install, run, commission, program, troubleshoot and network the new trends Siemens Simatic S7 programmable logic controllers(S200, S300 and S400). The participant is guided step by step from basic PLC set up to the programming of complex sophisticated PLC control systems.
